Mike's 2000 Jimmy Build
I've had my 2000 Jimmy for a little over 6 years now and for the longest time I ran it around stock but after discovering this forum, and being inspired by all of the great Blazer/Jimmy builds, I decided to do a little modding to my Jimmy.
Here is it stock:

After the 2" rear shackles, T-Bar Crank, and 31" ATs

Before the rear 1.5" Spacers:

After the spacers:

Removed stock silver grille and replaced it with a black one:

Roof rack:

I also just picked up a set of 80s Firebird Rims that I'm going to clean up and paint black. So hopefully I'll have picks of that up soon. Other plans include painting the chrome strip down the side and some other interior mods. I'd like to eventually get some off-road lights, brush guard, and possibly a body lift.
I'm also open to any ideas!

Looks good Bro! My is still stock and I hadn't planned on doing mods until I came to this forum. I came looking for help with repairs and was blown away by some of the rigs on here. One of my favorite build threads is called My Small 96 Blazer Build by Rexmburns. Check it out if you get a chance he has done some cool stuff. Keep posting pics as you go. That's a clean looking Jimmy.
I picked up a set of 80s style Firebird rims on Craigslist for $40 for the set. They have the same specs as the z28 80s rims.
4.50 BS, 15x7, and 5x4.75
After I cleaned them up I went to Home Depot a picked up a couple of cans of Plasti-Dip. Here are some shots before and after. I'll be getting them mounted soon and I'll have pics of that as well.

I was able to get the rims mounted this weekend. Here are some shots with the new rims.

I had to trim (more like hack) quite a bit of the fenders to get them to fit with my 31s. I'm still clipping it occasionally when I turn and out of a a steeper driveway. Is this more because of the tires/rims or should I replace my shocks? They are getting fairly old and I'm nervous to take it off-road because I don't want to grind the fenders every time I hit a hole.

You could consider doing a 2" body lift. That will move your fenders up out of the way and would reduce your chances of rubbing. Other than that you're pretty much limited to trimming. Even new shocks are only going to reduce the problem, not fix it. Off-road you'll still be flexing the suspension pretty good and will most likely rub. Especially with AT or MT tires.
By the way, I love those wheels. They look really good black like that.
