Put the turn signals in and wired up the halo's, I wired them to the little marker lights in the headlight housing, BUT I have this odd "thing" going on if anyone could help me figure it out. I know the little marker lights flash with the turn signals, and when I have the parking lights on the halo's flash as well, but when the parking lights aren't on they don't flash with the marker lights, weird huh? the marker lights still flash, and the halo's are wired directly to the harness that the markers are attatched to.....so they should flash....unless the polarity to the bulbs is reversed when the parking lights aren't on...... But why would GM do something that way?

Anywho, here's some pics.

Thank you sir,

Even the turn signals are growing on me already..... and for $160 and about 3 hours time (had to modify the passenger side core support because the projector was too deep and didn't sit in the hole) it did make a HUGE difference.

I'm considering doing a 3" cowl hood next along with some off road lights. Kind of a cross between street/sport/off road looks.

I'm also thinking an SAS is in order instead of doing an IFS lift....but that won't be for a while.

Yes, the polarity is reversed when the parking lights are on. They are like this so that the lights will be on with the parking lights and flash with the turn signal.

Well that explains it, I guess what i could do to make it so they flash all the time is take a wire from the ground side to the hot side and put a diode facing the "parking light hot" so that it won't flow on "parking light on" but when the polarity reverses for turn signal only it would still light the halo correct?

EDIT: Maybe that wouldn't work cause then i'd have to put a second diode in the "parking light ground" and that would eliminate the parking light from working....... any other ideas?

I think so, it's a little baffling to me even after installing and wiring my custom led parking lights.

So I think this is how i'd have to wire it so that it would all work..... Too much work for me but anyone else who's interested.....

The triangle table things are diodes, the "arrow" points to the direction of current flow.

Well today i fixed my parking brake (wouldn't stay depressed) I used a bunch of WD-40 and jammed a long screwdriver in there to free up the pawl or whatever locks it in place. After a bit of work it started working again.

Also replaced my hood release cable, and handle.

And my headlights are driving me nuts, they dont sit quite right and they move around a bit, I think it's the mounts behind the lights themselves aren't made quite right (that's what i get for buying cheap stuff) so I may take the mounts off the factory lights and install them on the aftermarkets. We'll see if/when i have time and i'll post up pics if anyone is interested.
