'mini' build of my 01 4wd 4dr
Here's a mini build up of how my 01 has turned out so far..
day I got it..
cleaned up a little..
first stereo setup..
second setup..
Overhead console installed..
removing the dings and badges and painted the front grille...
removing the wiper also, just plugs for now, untill i shave it.
also removed the roof rack..
then I swapped the cloth 60/40 bench and back cloth for leather buckets from a Jimmy..
new billet grille insert
as it sits now, lowered 3/3
Only plans i have left now is 20" Boss 338s, step shaver and new paint.. And possibly more drop. and a newer style front valance which i will be ordering this week, and remove the mud flaps

Nice!
Two questions:
1.What did you use to paint the grille area?
2. What year jimmy did u get the seats from and what mods did u have to do if any?

I used Krylon Fusion beleive it or not, just sanded it down and sprayed, been on a couple months now with no chipping.
the seats came out of a 96 Jimmy. I didnt have to mod anything except the power seat connects, they are only held in with 3 bolts since I had bench seats before. And I had to attach my seat belt buckles from the bench seats to them. 3 seat bolts is all I really needed but someday I will drill thru the floor and bolt it up the right way.

Haha, tint is the next step. 5 in the back and 35 in the front. The truck is also fully deadend, 5 layers on the roof and 6 layers ont he hatch, 2 layers on each door.

Looks great! I especially like the rear wiper dismount! Are those custom made plugs for the holes?
