Trucks looking good, can't wait to see the tires on there. The deer must have it out for you haha! I have a brush guard from a 98+ too, and it doesnt look too bad IMO.

I'm not trying to jack your thread, just proving to people that a 98+ brushguards and stuff can fit on the 98-, just takes a little work!

Never saw that style of Brush guard before. Looks good though. Yeah just have to use your head in order to mod things. Not very hard at all. I actually am working on a custom roof basket, I'll post some pictures once I get it where I like it.

That brush guard was a factory option from GM for 98+. I really want a roof basket but my wallet is pretty much tapped out now haha. Good luck with yours though, don't forget them pics!

Got the Rims the other day and went ahead and put the tires on. These things are huge. I put them on the blazer just to see how it would look and I couldn't even turn the wheel a 1/4 turn because of the amount of rubbing. Here's a teaser picture. But I did get my CB antenna mounted with a temp 4 foot antenna until I can get a whip. The Plan is tomorrow to order a 3 inch Body lift. And Fab up my own bumper brackets. This way I don't have to cut the fenders very much if at all. Sorry about the dark picture. All I could do at the time.

just a suggestion i wouldnt go with a 3 inch body lift its kinda excessive seeing my 2 inch body lift was alot and with the 3 inch body lift you have to extend certain stuff more than with the 2 inch body lift what i would recommend is a 2 inch BL and 1.5- 2 inch suspension lift (shackles and torsion bar crank) and it will look a hell of a lot better than stock also with a 3 inch BL you will have more body roll on a already high center of gravity and high body roll truck

but all in all nice rig starting to look like mine :P

how much you get your kelly safari sjr's for?

and if you want a nice cheap roof rack look at the rage black widow roof rack its only 100 bucks and its super nice quality and a great price

Anyone interested in shackles i can make you a set 5/16th inch steel possibly powder coated for 100 -150 bucks alot stronger than alot i have seen on online sites
