Default my 1999 blazer - will be pic heavy

I have decided to keep my blazer instead of selling it and getting a truck. Since I'm planning on keeping it I figured I might as well make it "mine". This will be slow coming at first with Christmas just ending but will post pics and info when I get the stuff done.

Here she is dirty:

I installed an Alpine CDA-9884 mp3/cd player in it last year:

I then installed a polished stainless steel gauge bezel:

My dad just bought me these on 1/20/10 for my birthday. I should be getting them and installing them soon.

I also have a cold air intake ordered that comes with a K&N filter. It doesn't have a heatshield so that is something I am planning to do soon as well. More pics and info to come.

Now you need to put a heat shield on there to make it a true CAI. I'd just use some sheet aluminum and cut it to fit.

Very nice head unit. I have the same one. The volume controls act up in the winter sometimes when its really cold though.

glad to see another Blazer owner "stayin' in it for the long run".

GL with the build, and don't worry if it takes awhile, money doesn't always buy a quaility truck (or car).

Drove to my dad's to pick up my tail lights. Not happy. They sent me the wrong ones. Didn't find out until I got home. Going to try and get a hold of the seller tomorrow and see what they say.
Here's what I wanted:

Here's what I got:

Have to go get me some 3057 red bulbs and will get them installed soon. Still ticked about getting the wrong set.

Bad luck! I would definitely send those back for the clear ones. They look a lot cleaner.

I put LED bulbs in mine so that they would still be all clear when they are off. If you use just standard red bulbs they will reflect off the reflectors and make the top bubble look just as red (close to) the ones you received.

Been trying to get a hold of the eBay seller for two days now with no luck. Five phone calls and 2 emails with no return calls or emails. Will try again tomorrow.
