No i did not end up welding it i used Fiber glass filler on the big holes and then after i reformed it i used regular bondo over top of that, i called and asked the local body shop and they told me to do it that way and it would work fine. So we will have to wait and see haha But it came out very nice cant even tell it was ever damaged or had holes

Waiting on more money to come in so that's why my thread has been kinda slow i know i have been working on this blazer since i got it almost two years ago, i don't really have a job atm my fiance is the only one working but i work with my land lord to pay off rent so funds are kinda strict.

But i don't let that get me down to much i love and think about working on vehicles all the time this is some thing i love doing more than anything else i could not be more happier i work out of a small tool box with cheap tools and maybe a few craftsman tools.

And i still manage to get things done, i am determined to get something done when i set my mind on it and wont stop until i finish it.

So when i look back at what the blazer looked like and i think about a cheap tools and spray can primer and think i did damn good so far so let me know what you guys think

I hear you on that. for a limited amount of tools and cash, the truck looks awesome. i too work with very limited tools. cheap sears toolbox thats about 15 years old and most of my power tools are just as old or older. all inherited from my dad (as was the blazer).

i commend you on the work you've done so far.

although i will give you a hard time about the pack in the one picture

i used to be a heavy smoker... now its a rare occasion/working on cars when i have one
