so its been a while since i last posted abt my progress. Long story short.... the engine locked up or i spun a bearing when the oil pump failed.

so im in the process of putting a engine i picked up from a 93 silverado.

Only thing ive ran into is the silverado was a 2x4 so there is a few things i had to change over like the throttle body which really wasnt needed and the oil cooler system which im still debating because i dont use the 4x4 except in the winter which is over now hopefully!!!!

The new engine i got oil cooler lines are plugged with adapter bolts where the lines come fromon my original engine.

Any ideas on if it would be a bad thing if the left newer engine as is and just put it in the truck without the lines or do i unplug the adapters and add the lines that always seem to leak??????

i got the newer engine in and it sounded great on first start up.

i decided to leave the oil cooler lines alone for now.

switched out the throttle body because i wanted my cruise control to work.

OAN
i finally dropped the fuel tank to start on the fuel lines they are very rusted and need to be done bad because i dont have enough pressure going through to start it. It will start will a little gas down the throttle body, but when it heats up its starts to idle very poorly and dies out.

Any ideas on if i should run rubber lines from the tank to the filter or if i should go back original with gm parts??

im going to change the fuel pump and filler neck while the tank is down also.

after the fuel system is done, im going to start back to the exhaust.
Im thinking its time for headers and True Duals....Getting rid of the Y pipe. debating if i want to add another cat or straight pipe it to another glass pack..
any ideas on tht job will be helpful too

I would like to have a full size blazer. The V8 option is definitely something that the s10 blazers are lacking.

Default Omg

So if this is someones idea of a good body repair

they should kill themselves with a knife across the wrist to bleed a slow painful death

they put foam in there what in the world were they thinking

just baught a welder so this should be one of the easier jobs now so no worries
