My first car and first blazer and decided that tricking it out was the way to go, photos of the process of painting my blazer from horrible condition paint to a fresh paint job (DIY)
The car formerly was a work truck for a man that worked at a mine, bought the car with a horrible condition paint with many spots painted over with rattlecans and crack. I have finished the paint and now working on the finishing pieces (brush guard, tire rack, lift, new tires, and possibly a new hood with a scoop). Plz give recommendations and tips thanks
Thanks! Luckily I had my dad to help me with the prep and overall it was an experience XD. But for the first paint job I've ever done i think it came out really good lol

Looks really good And now that you done your own the first time You understand where you Did really well And parts you might of improved Overall i say it looks good And i started in the late 80's on paint jobs..Rattlecan paint isnt...too bad for a car thats older than you Once you get good and spend the time on prep Get yourself a compressor / spray gun all the toys like water filter And pressure gauge A windless room dust free And some low cost watercolor paint And learn to mix and spray They come out shiney ! I took a day done nothing but each step prep filler primer sanding and cleaning And another full day of 7 total coats of paint And incase you are wondering I took my dad's 70's car paint And matched it GM Cordova Brown with copper flake this is without wetsanding 1 month drying time first
