Default My buddies 4.4 supercharged blazer

I was over helping my buddy work on his blazer last night and took some pictures thought i'd share it with you guys

Its a 94 S10 blazer that was a 4.3 CPI 4X4 originally and has since removed the 4WD has no front diff CV axles or anything like that.
The motor has been rebuilt and bored .30 over with keith black pistons a blow threw carb set up with a powerdyne supercharger installed infront of a T56 trans with a Camaro disk brake rear end and 3.73 and posi.

And now since he couldn't get the belt to stop slipping on the supercharger he is now going with a GT 35 turbo and i think this thing is going to scream it already did before but now its really going to run.....

yeah but he is stuck on beating people with a V6 and does it very well. I'm doing an LS swap in my blazer and i'm like i know all the **** you need and we can keep the turbo and this thing would be scary but he is convinced its going to be that way with the V6 he likes to beat up on some of the modded LS1 trans ams and GTO's around here and there like is that a V8 and he gets his jolleys off telling them its a V6 but to each his own i guess

It would be fun spanking bigger 8's with a 6, But I'd get my jolleys off just having a sleeper. No one would be expecting a Blazer with an 8 in it to begin with, especially if you don't get too flamboyant with the exhaust volume.

You dont need a V8 to be fast or anything, If that was the case then everything would be coming with V8's. See now ive seen people with an insane 4 banger making around 600hp in a Subaru STI along with a 500hp Cobalt SS, you dont see then putting V6's in there cars to get more power. What if people raceing dident think a V8 was big enough or made enought power, would everyone start switching to V10's or V12? Im glad to see the V6 making good power and hopefully smashing people. Like those people that say just do a V8 swap it really does **** me off because its not really practical. All they want is a little bit more power from there motor. See what I dont get it why doesent everyone just honestly take some concepts from a V8 and put them into a V10 and let that make more power? I think im going to start a my own thread on this.

His old set up on 12lbs of boost ran a 13.7 @ 101 with a 2.3 60' spinning out of the whole then boging down before it got after it. The thing had dynomax bullet mufflers and true duals and it sounded like a loppy deep supra or something just to give you an idea but who knows what it'll run after he gets done with it. could run a high 12 or jump down into the mid to low 12's..... He sees me getting close to getting my **** running and he starts freakin and changing everything and hopefully he won't beat me but if he looses it won't be by too much but there is definatly some racing going on when both mine and his are done.

Lol it's alot funner when you build a smaller motor to beat out all the bigger ones. If I had the money which I don't I would look to do something amazing to my '98 tacoma to make it faster just to see the look on peoples faces when I beat them. Nice rig for sure.
