Anyhow.. I looking around for a 3/4 or 1 ton pickup that is totalled. I think it would rock to put the drive train and suspension set up on my blazer, It'll take stripping the thing down take body off the frame. Cut all the suspension mounts from the donor and graft them in to the blazer frame.. There I can set up how high the blazer will set. I can use the bigger tranny and transfer cases and front differentials. The beefer suspension and drive train will handle the off-roading I do, and handle the V-8 thats about to go in. I'm going to reenforce the frame also.. I want a rally inspired ride, so I don't want it just to fit bigger tires I think 32's will be sufficient, like a 32x12.5x17. I live in salvage yard heaven here in western arkansas. You can get parts trucks pretty cheap. I wonder what the wheel base is on a single cab short wide full size 4x4,.. Maybe it close enough to the blazer that you could just swap the bodies. That would be so much quicker.
