My new $500 project

Picked this up yesturday for $500. 2002 cavalier ls sport. 80k, other then the light front damage its mint. Right now its in the tear down phase. Not sure what way I want to go with it yet. but will be piecing together an M62 supercharger kit off the cobalt SS. Ive owned many cars but love making something out of these j-bodies, due to the fact people see them as POS eco cars.

500 bucks.... if it runs... you got yourself a lil piece of easy mpg happiness

I don't see eyelids on your old project. You can't start the new one until that's done.

Layin down the law!

Looks like a nice little pickup. I like your projects, nothing wrong with working on cheaper cars, easier to find parts for and not a big deal if you want to get rid of it.

I like those rims on the Bravada! Did you get the colour matched inserts for them yet?

haha yea the hood was in the works but ran into some mechanical problems that needed to be taken care of first. Car is going to be sold after I finish the cav.

no not yet I will have them done for next season. The wheels are coming off in a month or two anyways.

Well some updates. Tear down complete. Upper radiator support took the blow of the accident. So im going to replace it, instead of trying to bang it back into shape. Other then that its ready to be put back together. The passenger side quarter had a nice size dent in it. we popped most of it out but it cracked the paint, so its going to need some body work. Other then that the rest of body is straight.
