I don't really drive it hard rarely goes over 2000 rpms never goes over 2500 from a stop and i go the speed limit maybe five over. I drive like a grandma trying to save gas. Apparently its not helping. Could it be something to do with my old fuel pressure regulator leaking. Like it dirtied something up?

Doesn't make sense to me that it would be...but I've been known to be wrong on occasion.

Have you checked for fuel leaks anywhere? What about sticking brakes? (ebrake maybe?)

No fuel leaks that I can see. Front brake pads rotors and calipers were just replaced. Wouldn't I be able to smell if my breaks were sticking? I know my fuel gauge bounces around quite a bit I think that's a fuel sending unit issue could that effect MPG that much?
I just left work and noticed that when I am idleing at a stop my oil pressure was staying up at about 40 (middle of the gauge) then when I would take off it would only go up 1 or 2 notches. What would keep my oil pressure up like that?

The oil pressure is something that has been like that in all four of my s series vehicles. Just something they do. Ive never heard of a bouncing gas gauge cause fuel mileage problems you just dont have an accurate reading on your gauge.

N3ROST4R, how do you like those honkooks so far? Looking at getting a set but I am skeptical about how they handle on slushy, frozen roads.

I love the hankooks. We didn't have a whole lot of snow this year but they performed well. Didn't get stuck at all and the handle well. There is road noise but that's to be expected.
On a side note I now have a new fuel tank, sending unit and pump. Also had to fix some corroded wires that were cause my rpms to surge and drop. Now I need new motor mounts but I'm having a hard time finding them for my year...thought energy suspension had them but I can't find them. Time for some Google Foo.

Advance Auto has stock replacment motor mounts if you havent found any yet.. I had to replace mine when I built my engine (I used to work for advance so most of my parts came from there) they should have thme in stock.. I can get you part numbers if you need them just pm me and let me know.

Thanks for the heads up, I did end up finding the motor mounts at advance. Mine where totally shot, and also ended up replacing a bunch of other things. And now I have a ticking noise. My motor has about 280,000 miles and I am worried one of the pistons is getting sloppy Thats what my step dad thinks to so I thinks its only a matter of time for a new motor...and I don't have the funds so hopefully its awhile before that happens.
