Default Project 95 Blazer

so heres the start of project 95 blazer. heres some pics i just took now, and its as is. i havent touched it since i bought it last week. *and not because im broke, cough cough...* so the deal is i got the blazer for $1400(cdn). it needs a tuneup and has a power steering leak. driver rear door window switch doesnt work, and the tires are way to tame for my liking. other than that its in great shape.

the project:tune up and service all fluids in the near future, next tires. im very interested in good year wranger duratrac's. then will install my 2 10 inch subs, with whatever headunit i find on sale lol. then i want a push bar and fog lights. and tint the windows as dark as legally possible and possibly black out the lights. thats about it for now.

thanks benedict, im going to my rented storage tonight to get the subs and fit them in the back just to see how im doing size wise. im hoping ill have enough room to mount the amp on the side of the box and a capacitor on the side of the box and have it fit snugly inbetween the wheel wells.

might give you an idea about how much space you have. and I wouldn't waste the money on a capacitor they don't help hardly at all unless you are getting like a 20 farad one which is pretty much an overpriced battery at that point. lol if you have any other car audio questions I can probably answer it for you

ok cool thanks! my subs fit like a glove, the angle of the box was just meant for the angle of the seats. im so happy with the fit lol. and yeah i may pass on the capacitor.

how many watts are you going to be running to your subs? going to amplify the speakers at all?

hoping to do what i did in my old truck from highschool. i forget the RMS and all that, but the amp i have is to power the two subs ill get a pic right now. then i want to get a second amp to power the speakers, and get after market speakers. i had alpine type s in my truck and i loved them. i had a dvd player deck in my truck but i wont go that fancy, maybe just a $200 decent JVC deck or something.

i will look into when the time comes. likely it will be 6 months down the road when i install all my stereo stuff. i got other stuff i see as a higher priority. first up is service all fluids and a tune up, then tires

oh and ps-i can pick up a running 93 s-10 with 4.3 4wd, running. uses oil, and leaks tranny fluid. body is ****. but runs and 4wd works for $200. would that be a good investment for parts? but its the non vortec 4.3 so i dunno if its even worth it cause mine is.
