One quick Q. Do you get your gas at the same place every time?
No, but I either get it at the Shell or Co-op Gas Bar. One of those two every time. Why do you ask??

Well I moved down the road from a costco gas bar and I used it for a good 2 months. I got my MAF codes in that time. Well I started getting paid under the table from my dad cuz were on and off working now, and Costco doesn't take cash so I went to esso. I started going there every time and haven't got the code again.

Just a thought but Shell is not longer in barrie.

I need to start going to Shell more. Apparently the guy at Co-op thinks I'm hot.... LOL

Okay time for a rant about winter now:

-Ice makes everything creak and rattle. Drives me insane!!
-The cold of winter here absolutely assaults vehicles. These machines were not designed for this cold!! Everything starts failing to operate and slows down.
-My back glass tried to kill me for putting my hockey bag in the back. It's either going to smash my head or my hands. I'm thinking about getting new pistons for the glass but I think the cold just makes them fail.
-My truck doesn't always start the first time even when plugged into the block heater. When it does start It's feeble. I'm going to install my new spark plugs next weekend and clean my MAF.

And on a positive/negative note I left my dome light on, almost killing my battery, but didn't. I think the significantly less power draw of my LED dome light saved my battery. I'm still getting a slightly higher volt reading, so I'm hoping I didn't fry it. It still starts.

/End rant!

Haha Everything you just said is the same for me. My volt meter is WAY past 14 all the time now. New pistons WONT help the back glass' serial intentions, but guess what. My GF's acura hasn't/WONT move and neither will our other tenants Grand Am. Both our Blazers/Jimmy's start and run like clockwork compared to them lol.

On a side note, Hows your Spider Assembly?

No, Not jinxing anything lol. Just wanted to know. Its just a hypothesis of mine that thats what all my problems are cuz I had the MAF code (still do), O2 sensor just went, and random misfire so I was just thinking leaking spider causing too much fuel to ignite in chamber causing the O2 sensor to fail and especially not getting the right air in cuz the MAF code.

Just a little thought of mine. lol

I feel your pain... My truck has been reluctant to start since we started hitting temps below -10... in the morning I'll come out, yank my frozen door open and turn the key... She's like me in the morning, I get the "leave me alone, no, , nooo, NOOO..." and then "ROOOAAAAARRRR!!" and then my catback shakes the snow out of the cedar tree I park next to when she finally wakes up. I'm going to test my battery, seems as though my cranking amps are low. last I checked it's the GM battery in there... 4 years with only 40,000 km's on it, the truck sat alot IMO and may not have helped the battery any.

I'll grab a video tomorrow lol.

The GM transmission fluid problem thing really amplifies in the winter lol. It feels like is going to kick right over onto the roof.

Had that in mine too... and taking off in the morning felt like there was no suspension movement whatsoever. My Sierra is pretty good besides the 2 or 3 real slow cranks before firing up.
