If you can deal with the dent you can pick up a used door handle at pick and pull, I only paid $15.00. Had to replace mine after the same thing happened to me when I was at NAIT and it is a really easy fix.

Yeah I'm just going to end up fixing it myself. It's only $25 for a new one from LMC truck too.

Did you just have to pull the door panel off and then undo a couple screws?

Exactly, Pop the panel then undo the two bolts that hold the handle in, disconnect the handle / lock rods and pop the new one in!

Well I looked at it further and I'll be going through insurance to fix it. They dented it when they pried from the bottom and it cracked the paint. Cracked paint could mean rust and nightmares in the future so I'll just get it fixed right.

Thanks Brad! I booked it in first week of May to get the door fixed/repainted.

My CV joints are toast too by the sounds of it. One of them anyways. Oh well it was something I would have replaced before the lift anyways.

I also dropped off the ZR5's for a couple weeks to get prettied up!

And this was what happen during a couple hours that I was at school last week...

Just curious, i know you are planning on gettign your ZR5's powder coated, but aren't they already painted on the insides? I have ZR5s on my ZR2 and I guess im just a little confused on what the end product will look like and if the will look my different than normal ZR5s.

I have a set of GMC ZR5's. They have a machined face with a matching silver colour on the insides where as Chevy ZR5's have black insides.

Basically I'll be turning mine into Chevy ZR5's but the black will be more prominent. Will end up looking a bit different most likely. If I would have found a set of Chevy ones I probably would have left them be, but the GMC don't have enough black for me....
