Seeing pics of an Edelbrock carb makes me miss my 84 Sierra.

What color paint is that (the grey)? I mean the actual name of it

Also where does the temp gauge connect to? I'm thinking of putting one in mine seeing as the one in the cluster is shot

gray? you talking about the flat black on the blazer?

also my coolant temp gauge goes in the motor under the exhaust manifolds on the driver side. it may be different for a 2.8 or 4.3.

Probably because it's dirty in that picture... looks flat black to me when it's clean.

it is, the top is factory gloss black, the top of the side is flat, and the bottom of the side is a goofy rough black paint with gold flake.

going to finish my custom gauge cluster tomorrow

also, i have a question. i'm going to need new front brakes pretty soon. just wondering if there is something out there thats better. not aftermarket cause i'm sure aftermarket is expensive. is newer blazer or camaro calipers and rotors an better? and would they fit?

i figured since i'll be buying new front brakes i might as well see if anything is a direct swap.

so i went to a junkyard and found a muncie 5speed, the junkyard only wanted $123 for the trans. the trans is good too, the junkyard wants $123 for any trans. SCORE!

also got this steering wheel for $12

and cut the seat brackets and re welded them for the seat to sit low. helped me out ALOT.
idk why i took this pic, but im posting it anyway.

also my edelsuck 600 took a poop on me, so i got a quadrajunk from a big block cadillac from the same junk yard i got the steering wheel and trans. only paid $20 for the carb and it works awesome. way better then my 600.

my rear end is leaking gear lube from the passenger side axle seal.

so i'm going to get a rear end with disc brakes from a late 90's bravada for $81 from the same junk yard. i was looking at exploder rear ends in the junkyard. they have 6 of them. but the swap looks like it may take longer then the time i have to fix my rear end.
