Nice looking truck. How long did the bed liner process take and how difficult was it?

Rex, the liner is so thick, that it is acting as noise damper now.
before I sprayed it I had a bad wheel bearing that you could clearly hear. After the bed liner, no more wheel bearing hum lol. but I have since replaced it anyways.

Rap, The process took a full 14 days but that is because I had to weld in new panels.
The actual liner process was just taping it off, scuffing up the surface, cleaning the surface and spraying forever lol. Things that helped, a big enough compressor, The correct spray gun.

247 monster, I have big plans for this build but they are on the back burner for now. My turbo project has my attention ( trying to get it ready for summer).

This summer my blazer will have my attention and don't quote me on this but RC 2.5 inch lift with other stuff will be put in this spring. but in the long run I will be doing the ORD solid axle swap, on anything bigger than 35's

Right now I am working on a nice switch panel for my off road lights. stay tuned!

what do you guys think of these?

I am also installing some switches under my radio for my lights. here is the progress on that



I am going to run 4 rocker switches. One being a main switch that controls power to the entire panel. and the other 3 will control basket lights, brush guard lights and a 42 inch light bar.

Those shackles are good. But, they are only as good as what they are mounted in. I would inspect your reciever and ensure the mounts are all still good and that the hardware doesnt need to be replaced. If you do replace it, go with grade 5, and pinch nuts. Grade 5 stretches and doesn't shear. The pinch nuts are ONE time use, but are well worth it. Nyloc's can become worthless over time in high vibration, and lock washers don't always ensure a locked nut. Just a thought. Otherwise, those clevis hitches are good stuff. I find that I like having that, plus a clevis on either side of my bumper. For multiple recovery points. Sometimes you need to pull on a corner to avoid a roll etc.

by the way can anyone tell me the benefits of a dana60 over a 44?
And is this a good price? I found 2 dana 60's on craigslist both complete. for 500$

Dana 60 in stock form is about as strong as a built 44. What year and model are the axles?

do you think its more feasible to just get 44's ? they seem to be the same price around here. 2 for 500$
