Project (need a name) 1972 AMC Gremlin
i realize its not a blazer or jimmy or bravada but it is my other toy
1972 AMC gremlin.
full body restoration complete.
white with blue striping and pearl blue clearcoat. 360V8 with 4 on the floor manual trans. MSD 6A box and Blaster 2 coil. Optima Red top battery cloth seats no options no AC no PS. dont need it its mainly a track car.
still have to put the dash together put the MSD box and coil on the battery in fix the passenger side outer door handle (lost the rod so it dont work)
put the door panels on. get a new radiator and electric fan. put the front end together. then fire it up and haul *** down the street.

Awesome. I had a 75 with the straight 6 about ten years ago. Wish I'd have kept it

i paid 500 for the car when i bought it cause it was wrecked
i actually have one other toy that i will probably never restore which is sad. its a Numbers matching 1 year only design 1960 Pontiac Catalina 4 door vista top.

Nice looking toy. It must be one of those guilty pleasures to restore something like that
As far as the '60 Cat, do they even make streets big enough to accomodate those things any more? If i am thinking of the right car, isn't it a giant boat that dwarfs a Ford Galaxy 500 or Plymouth Fury in size? Let me guess it's "old man pants oatmeal tan" in color too

the Cat is at the moment rust colored was white and yeah they make roads big enough for it
and yes as far as i know the Gremil moves like a scolded dog

Project Stripe would have worked too as he was the bad *** gremlin and the mogwais were the fruity ewoks. Plus you have a stripe on yours.
You will have to get a buddy to film her first run on a strip some where and you tube it
