thought of a theme for Sharlet....thinking a Black Widow theme...((IE 8 lights in front for "eyes" and a red hourglass on the back window....any thoughts or suggestions?

okay got a choice here...

1) go for the whole wiring harness for around 250$

2) cut and splice the charred wires

3) use electrical tape and patch it...or use Liquid Tape

my vote is for the 2nd one...any advice?

Replace the burn wiring and have at'er with shrink tubing. Just make sure you use the right guage of wiring and your soldering is good lol. It'll be time consuming but you'll save lots of cash.

If it were me, I would go to the junkyard and pull a used wiring harness and install it and be done.

$250? that must be for a new harness.

Don't cut n splice, you are just asking for further troubles, or fires.

after months of looking and scouring everywhere to find parts i finally found something....

this project is finally on the road to recovery

new 2.8L wires and all and an upgrade to a 5sp. tranny

started taking the charred wiring out today....going to continue tomorrow with the gutting and possibly transplanting of wiring and TBI

updates will be coming in as progress is made
