I wired mine into the fuse box and put a switch on the light panel under the factory button on that panel. Can't think of what that button is called, but I know you along with everyone else on here knows what I'm talking baout haha.

I'll get some daytime pics before class tomorrow. For the passenger side I ran it all behind the interior pieces and ran the two sets of wires together and into the button, and ran that to a fuse.

I want to use some real soft lighting at night when my light are on, so I'm going to see if that'll work. Never thought about the dome override light...

Mine are 4.7" long. Next size up is 9.5, and that'd be pretty bright. Mine are soft enough to give the interior a cool effect at night.
thats where i got my 3 switches on my dash along with my set of white under dash lights but i ended up yanking them out after the one exploded from a 9 year olds temper tantrum

Waiting on TireRack to get my tires in stock.

General Altimax HP's.

After that, do some interior lighting, and buy some new speakers. I found a nice set of Kenwood components at Best Buy for $130. They also have a subwoofer package including 2 Kicker subs, and an enclosure for $300 bucks, I'll need to look for a good monoblock amp. One of my friends is probably selling his Blazer, so I'll try to persuade him to give me his amp, and/or subs.

that'd be lucky for you if he helped you out haha. i'm getting lucky from my brother. i'm getting a "new" radio and 1000 watt amp from my brother for work at his house.

which fusebox do you usually fuse to though? in cab or under hood? i'm just curious so i don't do anything stupid sooner or later lol

I don't know what he had done, because it was rewired by an actual installer, but we used to have the amp directly connected to the battery with an in-line fuse. when he put in a mono amp for the subs, he used the two channel for his speakers, and had a splitter block to wire the two amps onto one wire.
