Forgot to post this I guess...but here's a fun video drowning the Blazer. It ended up getting the ignition wet and running terrible. Also killed the blower motor. But I got it running again with a new coil and ICM. It aint dead yet! Now time to order a blower motor...I want to keep my heat and A/C haha

Blazer rust is getting pretty bad. Every time I fix anything on it 2 more things break. Honestly the blazer rust has been really bad from the start...and beating on it hasn't helped. haha
But I patched it up enough to run Gambler 500 Frozen Nutz in a couple weeks. See how long it lasts. haha

Finally had a chance to put together a video from the "expert trails" at the offroad park tagging along with some Jeeps. Trails recommended for 35+ tires with 31s means you gotta have some more throttle, more send and more ain't care. Sometimes that still aint enough and you gotta get pulled out.

Wow, I haven't updated this thread in forever!
Tried jumping the work snowbank with the Blazer like I did with my old Z71...similar results! haha. Got some air time! But it busted apart the grille and broke a rusty power steering cooler line. One self tapper and a couple hose clamps and it was ready for more action though.
Tried to take it up the mountain at my dad's and it's just not great in snow. Really needs a welded front diff. Third gear was working ok until the SES came on. Such a turd...I think it's the spider. I'll keep pounding on it until it won't go any more. Then it'll get the 5.3 and f350 axles I have waiting for it. Also have a lead on a local nv4500 and floor shift transfer case out of a 2500 dodge. At some point it's gonna be a beast!
Snow bank
Uphill skiing
$300 5.3 swap with free tuning
getting a pair of running LS for $500
And I guess I never did post the "tough truck" track I went to and water bogging either

It amazes me how long it has lasted, given how rusty it is and how bad I beat on it. But to be fair, I've broken and fixed it at least a half dozen times in the last year or so.
I wasn't doing anything crazy when the control arm broke. There was a big crack in the arm and I welded it last year. Looks like it broke right at the pivot and broke my weld off too. Welding to rust aint an exact science.
Jeep guys all talk smack about s10s, but the Blazer conquers more than it should probably even attempt. haha
