Just an update..

Got all the Rockford Fosgate speakers and tweeters installed and it sounds GREAT!! Next step is a 10" Rockford sub.. I only want one 10" just to ad some bass and not being annoyingly loud.

Are you going to use a ported or sealed box? I'm just curious.

Thanks man! Iv'e got a lot of projects and ideas brewing for this Blazer. I probably won't go to the extreme of a SAS since i drive it daily with a family of 4 and also take this vehicle on vacations.

Picked this up off of craigslist for $10... Not a Hi-Lift but it should do the trick, plus i couldn't pass up that deal.

And ordered a mount for it to put it on the roof rack.

What's funny is that mine drives better now than it ever did when it was still IFS the only problem family wise is that I literally carry a 5 gallon bucket around and have to pull it out every time my wife needs to get in lol! Vacations aren't an issue for me tho cause we always rent a SUV when we go places just for piece of mind that if it breaks we call, they come, we leave, they deal with the broken vehicle lol!

Yeah i understand that. I like to live on the wild side and take my chances of a break down.....I'm kind of a bad ***.. lol I like the 5 gallon bucket idea.. my wife is like 5'4" and i would like to see her climb in using a bucket as a step lol

I think more than anything the reason i won't do a SAS is because I don't have the equipment or knowledge on how to fabricate stuff to make it work. Nor do i have the time with 2 boys below 2yrs old..

Just an update on last nights progress...

Got all the frame painted and started working on getting the lights mounted..
I also looked at the shackles because i was gonna put my lift shackles on but the bolts are pretty rusted and I think it would be wise to get a replacement set of bolts and bushings before tearing it apart.
