Thanks guys.
I was really happy with that purchase :) Also after clearing my P0300 code I haven't had it come back on yet, but the engine is still rough. |
Cool looking wheels! I had a tough time finding a set of this bolt pattern... Well, they had lots of 20s and chrome and stuff, but thats not what I wanted.
I think the whistler blackcomb is just a local decal thing being its from the lower mainland. EDIT, just noticed you are from Etown too, Ill keep an eye out. Well, Im always looking for cool Blazers. Im one of the Hiway 9 guys in this town. |
Thanks for the pumping my tires there but I must say seeing what you got made me sad i never found them. Just beauties.
And Ill be looking for sure to try and find ya any time Im there, stellar build btw. |
So finally got the check engine light again and this is the new readings. The LTFT levels are better.
Also the ses light was on then started flashing so time for me to stop procrastinating and actually fix this problem Ill try and do a complete repair for people if it is the distributor. well my lazy butt has finally started fixing. And the distributor is fine! no wiggle room. the 6,4,2 spark plugs and wires are now changed and that was not as exciting. The #6 plug was newer than the others and was covered in oil.. so i replaced it and will check it again after i find some one with a scanner that can tell what cylinders misfire. Also do the 5,1,3 sparks and wires tomorrow.
What are the thoughts on the oil covered plug, would that be the piston ring? or a valve cover? and lucky spring is coming so more work will start happening rather than repairs. My dad is currently rebuilding a old ski nautique boat so i have been thinking of making a new sub box out of fiber glass and maybe get another sub to add. |
so with summer starting hopefully are start posting again. turns out it was the injectors that were my misfire problem so i got them replaced.
the DELPHI 10565 fuel Injection SCPI to MFI Conversion Kit. any thoughts on it? it is running great |

well unfortunately I got in an accident last week and lost the brush guard and bumper. So starting the rebuild.
I got a new head light cheap and am thinking of getting the synergy winch plate (S10, Blazer, Sonoma, Jimmy Winch Mount Plate) to build the bumper off of. What do people think of the winch plate?? Also a new grill will need to be purchased. so here are the before and after pics. |
well it now seems that the fuel pump is gone. Went to start it after work and turned over a ton but would not start. Can't hear the Fuel pump turning on either when the key is in the on position. Still need to check the fuel pressure but dont have the tool right now.
So excited for another repair. |
