So I've read through the thread and almost sold on getting this lift. my question is if you do a normal tbar crank and shackles and just fab the brackets to drop the diff would it be the same? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but from what I can tell that's all you would need to really do. Is there something I'm missing?

You're missing the fact that this kit comes with new control arms that correct the ball joint angle so they don't fail as quickly. Otherwise, yes you could do that.

I bought the kit because all my ball joint were shot, all my shocks were shot and the upper a-arm bushings were shot. Go price all that out see what you come up with. So you buy the kit which it replaces most of those items and get a lift. Oh yeah if you had read all the posts I had done on this lift you would have read that I had cranked up my bars higher than the instructions had recommended. So its whats best for you and your set up. And my ride is far much better now than is was stock.

Oh okay I was assuming that the drop of the diff changed the angles. And I missed that you had cranked you torsion bars over what was recommended. Sorry guys.

Ohhh alright I understand. Now my cv angles above are with my tbar crank of about 1.5"-1.75". How far did you crank yours up then? Because im figuring keeping mine this low and maybe the diff drop will really have an affect on it then

so i got a pretty loud clunk when going over decent dips in the road after installing this lift. was wondering if any body else had this issue what did you do to correct it.
i've double checked all my bolts. it kinda sounds like the shock is toping out. but i have the ride hide set to rc specs. any help would be great thanks in advance.

Edit: i figured it out today, turns out my new psg side cv axle is fudged. The bearings inside are bad, when at full droop the wheel locks up NOT GOOD! So i got a new one on order. Not looking forward to tearing the front end down again but at least i cought it b4 getting it aligned.
