Default S10 Sport 4.3 V6 refurbishing

Hi, all. I have a Blazer S10 4.3 that I picked it up abandoned in a friend farm , under two trees 14 year stopped . I am tryied to start it again and fixed rust problem, rusty fuel tank , fuel pump blocked, pipes clogged . some rust on distributor cap , rebuilt spark cables , unclogged and cleaning TBI , Check Starter motor and now it is possible to start put looks like unsyncronized , not keeps idle and incluse exaust explosion smoke for inlet when stops. the magnet inside ignition distributor is rusty and some part broken trying to dismount for cleanning.

I am trying to find other one from scrap, second hand but it is very dificult here in Spain. I watched on China new one and new on USA but it is expensive shipment and tax border

Anyone know where to buy small parts like magnet only? any idea?

I would see if there is a seller on Ebay Spain named Everestparts or Everestco. It is a Chinese company. On Ebay USA they ship to USA for free. I imagine they will do the same when shipping to Spain.

On USA Ebay they have a complete distributor "19052845" for your Blazer for $35.80. I do not have your postal code to see if they give free shipping to Spain, but I did see Spain listed as a country to ship to after putting the distributor in my basket for checkout.

You should probably try to find this company or someone like them on Ebay Spain first, but if you can't find them there just search Ebay USA for "19052845".

If it has been sitting for a long time, you could squirt some penetrating oil in the cylinders through the spark plug holes and let that sit for a couple days to loosen up rust and stuck valves, etc. Be sure to crank it oever to blow it back out before replacing the spark plugs.

Hope this helps. Good luck

Default I am refurbishing still my chevy 1988 sport sport utility

hi all
at first , thank everybody for this forum and the information explained it.
I am doing reconstruction still, the engine starter for a second after install the new ignition module and adjust TDC visually . I changed the oil , was absolutely stinky , it smelled like solvent and was very liquid .I fixed the valve cover because was deformated forced at prior installation , no body know when and leaking oil the gasket. my next step is full fill it of oil and check compresión . install spark plug , I checked ignition coil and fixed it with inch screws like original ,
the lock door cylinder are not original , nobody know from, and the outside door handle are from Ford Sierra European Model !!! was an artist the technician that installed them.

a long job , no boring

Default I am refurbishing still

the oil filler cap was very hard to remove so I warmed with hot air and was easy to remove . now it is sink into silicone oil for softer . the engine start percfectly after change spark plugs , cables , distributor module and make TDC adjustment.
I think to heat the new oil reservoir under engine before to start because the old oil was black paste also I removed it from valves cover ..I am afraid the old black paste oil clogged some parts like crankshaft level .

Default tachometer goes full scale

hi again
the tachometer goes full scale , 5.500 rpm so I removed that instrument cluster and I was surprised because at the metal plate at the front of meter is written 4CLY/DSL . is correct ? I ordered the chip LM1819 and waiting for it from China .
