Ok so I guess I'll throw a build of my cobalt up here. I'm not sure that I'll mod it much, but I'll post what I actually do. :)

2.2? the earlier SS (not the bs 4dr ss) appearance package or trim would kill this car. I love these cars. I imagine Eibach or H&R suspension on this would give it a nice stance and no sacrifice driveability

How early of SS trim? Or do you just mean the actual supercharged engine trim?

Too bad ur so far away, I have a set of motegi mr15 18s I would give ya. Nothing I got fits 4 lugs or less than 20s anymore...

While I appreciate that, why don't you just sell them?

I put em up on kijiji for a couple hundred bucks, but no real bites. I would rather give em to someone I know. 2 tires are cut, so maybe that's why nobody wants em cuz they gotta buy 2 tires. The other 2 are new though... A well maybe ill get a buyer by spring, or just keep em. My oldest will be driving in a few years, I guess I could just get a project import car for him to build up for when he's 16...

Well, he can have the blazer if he starts showing any interest in it... He seems to only care about money making and video games... He doesn't care to work on cars with me, and only wants stuff given to him, he doesn't want to put in elbow grease to earn them unless its cash. Just took him to bestbuy so he could buy a bigscreen plasma with his snow shovelling money... Couldn't believe he made that much in a month and a half!

just a note if you look around there are plenty of saab turbo kits or ss supercharged kits for less than a set of rims. check jbody.org or anywhere you choose. easy to get good power cheap in those

Random question for ya. What kind of mpg's are you pulling in the 'balt?

i have a 2006 cobalt ss supercharged. Car is a blast to drive... shes not stock anymore lol. I havent taken it out of the garage since about october :( i miss driving it.

At 70 mph I get 35 mpg, and I average 30 in the city. More than double the old blazer.

So I grabbed one more cell phone pic today, I'll grab a few with my camera tomorrow.

I tried to hook them up to my amp, but I guess my amp died. It will only light up the indicators for 1/2 a second and then shut down. So I'm probably going to get a cheapo at a pawn shop for now. I definitely need a new head unit too, the stock one has a hard time sounding clear at high levels.

Those rims make a HUGE difference. Looking good!

So I bought a 4 ch amp from a guy on CL and tried to hook it up and got nothing but silence. I think it's an issue with my stock radio, so that will have to be my next purchase.

When my tax return gets here (some time in March) I'll be ordering a Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X996, a pair of T3652-S components, and a T600-4 Amp. to finish off my stereo (finally.)

Needless to say I'm a little excited. :icon_lol:

So I did a couple of cosmetic things today just for fun.
Carbon fiber pedal covers.

Well I saw a sale TRS was having on HIDP and I decided that I'll probably never get this good of a deal again, so I bought some FX-R projectors and new D2S bulbs too.

I've spent way too much $$ on this thing the past week.

Got my new amp in today. It's nice to have a sub again. The T3s are at the ups store and I'll pick them up tomorrow and the HU should get here tomorrow as well.

Ok finally got everything in after about 6hrs of tear down wire running and tuning.

It sounds freakin' awesome at incredible sound levels. Unfortunatly I killed my sub and in the process, also killed my sub amp. So I'm lacking in the bass department again, but hopefully that will change sometime in the near future.
