After 307,000 miles, my factory motor in my '94 4WD went kaput! Haven't had an opportunity to tear it down to find out exactly what happened, I've been busy putting a new motor in my Blazer.
I got a rebuilt 350 out of an '88 Chevy truck that a friend of mine had built. The motor only had 16.8 miles on it when I got it.
It's a 350 with Vortec heads and a GM Performance intake. I was able to keep my original TBI, and I am in the process of getting a proper chip for my computer, but as of right now it's running great!
It was this project that compelled me to join this Forum.
Next on the agenda is a 3" lift and LED light bar.
