So I fixed the cables and tried to start the car but it whold not start and after a cupple of times it started to smell gas so I gave up and started with somting else.
And then I saw it! A podle under the car. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/blazerf...b4885d38ea.jpg So I took a deep breath and started to look for the leak. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/blazerf...06cecf5567.jpg And there it whas. And I started to think of all the truble this could give me. But the nut on the engine side let like noting! And the other nut let go of the filter but not the pipe so it was a small struggle to get it loose. Then the next problem occured, the filter is stuck. I cant get it past the torson bar/frame and torson bar/bashplate for the transfer case. And i saw another intresting solution. The fuel line to the filter is a rubber line with ordinary hose clamps on a rusty line. |
I have droped the tank and thought a lot and ended in that this car should be saved and that sets a new corse.
Whit the tank on the ground I fund a heep of new problems like the fuel sender was to far gone and someone had tryed to fix it whit epoxy and both vent conections on the tank was broken. New parts got orded then I started to look where things should go and noted that I need to make new pipes for the tank vent to but I have no clue were and how they should be conekted? Can someone tell me how it should be? https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/blazerf...94739451c6.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/blazerf...23d12050c9.jpg |
