but how the hell do you manage to get through the snow with those slicks on?

The ride isn't new. I have had her for over a year now. Those tires were on there when I got it. She currently has Continental Contritracts on her and they did great in the snow!

Well I got my CAI in. It is from Spectre and ran me about $110.

This kit is quite a bargain IMO. Directions were very clear and the parts are top quality and fit nicely. Initial impressions are very good. Acceleration seems a lot smoother and quicker while the throttle response seems more crisp and precise. Around 2800rpm she really sounds good with a nice little growl coming from under the hood. I would strongly suggest this if you are looking for a better throttle response and a smoother ad quicker acceleration!

Very nice! Not bad for that price, considering everything you get with it. Even comes with a heat shield!
can't wait to see the progress on this one. The plans look good!

plus a K&n will run you $300 brand new for the blazers
mine was $100 new but thats a whole different story

Update:

After 3 tanks of gas, I am happy to report that I have roughly picked up around 1.5MPG with the CAI!

Now last year I sprayed truck bed liner on the roof rack and rear corners:

I liked the way it looked and turned out so today I decided to do the grill.

Finished product with my newly acquired "C" that I have never had since I have owned the truck:

Next week I will be removing the tow hooks and doing them as well.

While changing my oil I discovered something else that will need replaced:

Of course man! Mine were faded and looked horrible, so I threw the bedliner on there. It looks better in person than the pics.

Just ordered a tubular Curt hitch, wiring harness, and other goodies from thehitchstore. Should be here by tuesday!

On another note,.. on the last picture from post #15, what is that part called,.. I thought it was a bump stop, but the only ones I can find are for 2 wheel drives...?

Thanks!
