Update:
Painted all of my wiper arms. The paint was peeling of of them and they were looking pretty rough. As usual I painted them with bedliner: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...jimmy01003.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...jimmy01002.jpg Also bedlined the front tow hooks: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...jimmy01001.jpg And installed tubular curt hitch and wiring harness: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...jimmy01004.jpg As of April 7th: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...jimmy01006.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...jimmy01005.jpg Today I just ordered a Westin Safari bar and mounting brackets! It will be in on Friday and will get it on Saturday while I'm off. |
Awesome job! And I like that LS1 sitting next to it.

***Update***
Picked up some goodies today: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...faribar001.jpg With the bar on: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...faribar002.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...faribar003.jpg Now for the lights. (still have to wire them up. Please check my thread out in the electronics section): http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...faribar005.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...faribar006.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...faribar007.jpg While deciding if I wanted to add this, I kept trying to find a picture taken from the side to see how far out from the bumper they stick. Well I never found one, so here is one for anyone in the future with the same question: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...faribar004.jpg Overall the Jimmy is coming along the way I want it and the addition of the Bull Bar, was definitely a positive upgrade I think. Let me know what you think. |
Dang looks awesome!
|
Thanks. I still have some tweaking to do before it is centered, plus I still have to hook the lights up.
|
I'll come over and help. I'll do all the work too. Might just tweak it until it looks like it's on mine lol. I am envious :)
|
Just get one.
All together, inclucding the bar, mounting brackets, and lights, It cost me roughly $150 from a local truck supply shop. |
Dang, what kind of lights are those? I like.
