The buick hood latches are interestng, but I think it's gonna take a two stage fab'd latch to move it forward to a limit switch before it rotates up. But any other info that anyone can find like the buick latches would be awesome just for the sake of interest. Whatever I make up, there'll be drawings for, so everyone can benefit. I don't need the money, but I think it would be cool to see a bunch of us with the conversion.

haha, I know what you mean. When I was younger it made crawling around in engine bays and getting into tight spots a lot easier, but with the shape of my bones these days, I'm afraid that working on it exposed at chest height is just too inviting not to take a serious look at. (not to mention the cool factor of course lol)
