Default Contest Format

I would like to get input from you guys on how you would like these contests to work. Originally, each was one week long withthree days to work on an entry andfour days of voting. I would like to give more time so more people can create an entry and get more people to vote.

This last contest, (CONGRATULATIONS to Steve) I changed it up a bit and tried a private entry thing. I also changed it so there was one full week to create an entry and one full week to vote. However, there weren't as many entries as usual

If any of you have any input or ideas on a betterformat for these contests (number of days for entry/voting, entry method), please let us know. You can either post it in here or PM TripleBlackBlazer or myself. Also, if any of you run across a good picture of a car that you think would be good for these contests, let us know. When looking at pics, keep in mind how hard they would be to edit. Stick to GM and try to find large pictures. Most of you know, but small pictures are harder to edit

I think monday through friday to work on them then the weekend to vote. I like to public entries better because it made me come up with more ideas for the edit. I also like the themed edits that you were coming up with.

ya i think the contests get a better response when people post up their entry's in the thread. it gives people to take a look at whats goin on and maybe spark their imagination into creating their own. i know by the pm'ing u wanted to get more privacy but i think that the moderators should over look the entries and if something is conflicting w/ someone copying then something should be done. but as of so far not much copying has been done so i dont think that is a problem.

Themed edits will definitely continue. I'm not sure how many people visit during the weekend to vote.

We're gonna give it one more go at the private entries and if it's still an issue we'll go back to public submissions.
