A good option to see if you'd like your rims black or not would be Plastidip. It's similar to a can of spray paint, but its plastic that comes out. You spray it on, 2-4 coats preferred, and once it dries, it peels off if you don't like it. The cans are a standard sized paint can, and run for about $9.20 or so. Really recommend trying it out.

plasti dip at my lowes is only 6.35 a can an 1 can will get u 3 coats on each wheel

That's rather cheap compared to where I'm at in Orlando. My friend used 3 cans to get all 4 of his rims black, and those had 5 coats each. Depends on how thick you layer it, I suppose?

I would do a matte/satin finish. Not gloss.

I about to paint a set i got from the scrap yard but im going to try to do it in black chrome. looks real cool. ill post picks when im done.

Still thinking about it. i just darkened my front windows with tint and my backs are pretty dark so i think black wheels will look good on a white truck with the windows tinted and everything. just what i like
