OK. It seems that everything I use to clean my wheels screws up my brakes. This seems to happen no matter what vehicle I have at the moment. At first, I thought it was warping them, but I almost never clean a vehicle when it's hot. Someone told me it was cleaning something off the rotors. Any ideas.

yup the rotors will rust when you clean them. no stopping that.

all you have to do drive the car a foot or two while riding the brakes all the rust will clean up.
