I need cleaning advice !!!
I was wondering if anyone knew a good way to clean the mud/dirt off of my motor and engine bay? Because water's not doing the trick and I also tried using gunk cleaner and it also did nothing... So any advice would be apreciated. Thanks, Brandon.
Try an engine cleaner. Or go to a high end car wash and ask for their engine cleaner. A friend of mine had some. Worked wonders on it. Probably not good for hoses and wires but It clean the metal up pretty good!
I find it much easier just to leave the mud be. Helps to soak up the various leaks, too!
Seriously, I've never tried to clean my engine for the sole reason I know it will just get dirty again. I will on occassion use the pressure washer, very carefully, to knock out the major stuff but I've never worried about the small stuff.
The same can be said about the rest of my truck, for the most part. I'm much more into keeping mine mechanically fine than pretty. I tend to put function before form.
