Default White paint guys...

The guys with white trucks, what have you found as been the best to getting your white white again, and what has been the best wax you've used for the white paint?

claybar it before you put any kind of wax on it. I use meguiars nxt 2.0, tech wax i think its called, every month. works good enough for me

Yeah I was def going to claybar it before anything. To get the dirt and grime off I've mixed bleach and purple power when I first got it. I never got a chance to wax it though so as soon as it warms up enough I'm going to get on it.

Noone else with a white truck? I just want to know what you guys do for your paint! Thanks 01vortec for chiming in already!

ahah i own a white one................ but i dont wash it .. ever. i wash my s10 religiously though. hand wash and handwax only................. but a clay bar is a good way to go.

Haha well before I lived in apartment my Jimmy got washed once every week or 2. I hate my truck being dirty

OMFG!!!! DON'T EVER USE BLEACH ON PAINT!

it'll strip everything off-including all the good stuff in your paint.

Yea I know its horible for it but there was honestly no other way to get it white again. Trust me its not somethign I do every time man. Bleach is a no-no unless its supposed to be white but turning cream color.. its not something Id do again trust me.

Yeah, the Purple Power diluted with water should have worked fine alone.
\I've heard of people using a highly diluted mix of bleach and water, bu I still wouldn't try it. At least you aren't going to again, haha.

I agree with clay bar, buff and wax the truck. It'll be as close to white as possible after that.
My Xtreme is white, and I clay barred and waxed it after I bought it. Came out looking pretty darn spiffy.

Yea I mean its not like I used straigtht bleach. It was a HIGHLY diluted mix.
