Cold air intake, and complete exhaust system are the best first mods. Then a cam, and new computer chip. Then a blower.

Or drop in a 5.7L V8 to get the same power as that blower on the 4.3L.

Im down with the intake and exhaust, but before ya go all into the superchargers, id suggest having your heads opened up. the stock cylinder heads for the 4.3 have horrible airflow, both intake and exhaust. also some tuned headers wouldnt hurt. and if your looking for engine parts, its the same as the '94 model, so when looking to buy stuff, if it says it'll work for a 94, odds are it would work for your 95. they revised the engine in 96 and later models.

Nobody manufactures a blower for the 95 4.3 CPI unfortunately, only 96-04 MPFI. I would start with a free flowing exhaust, headers especially. The intake on the 95 is actually pretty good stock, just drop a K&N in. The reason I say this is because on the 95's the slot through the core support is relatively large, and it pulls colder air than the K&N cold air intake, which is the only one I have found for a 95. A Jet performance chip would be a good addition. There are no throttle body spacers available for the CPI, plus they are worhtless.

A lot of people ask what they can do to the 95's, since they are different than the 96-04, so I have started a small database of parts available for the 95 and the CPI engine and I will post it once it is finished.

Haven't done one yet.

HOWEVER, I have been doing some research into it.
Search the web for a site called Jags that run, or JTR for short. They sell a book on the swap that covers all teh details. Excellent book. Worth the $20 or so.

The difficulty depends on your skills, which engine you decide to use, and your current vehicle. Like going from a 2.8L to a 305 is a little more involved then going from a 4.3L to a 305, or 350.
