Default 4.3 rebuild... need some input

ok well I believe its time for my 4.3 to get a rebuild... it started burning and leaking oil from practically every spot on the motor it will come out of. So I looked on summits web page and come to a conclusion of getting one of there short block rebuild kits... Im looking at getting .030 over bore pistons... but im unsure if i should get .010 undersized main and rod bearings or if i should just try and see if the crank can just be polished up. along with that I was looking at putting a cam in the motor but wanted some unput on what you guys would say would be a good cam. also for good measures i was probably going to replace all the crucial studs and bolts with arp stuff.

pretty much the truck is just going to be a daily driver that im looking for some extra power from. I may occassionally go bomb thru some trails or maybe take it to the track a couple times for the heck of it.

I also planned on getting some headers/cat back exhaust for the truck too.

but any tips and input on what you guys think i should do for the rebuild of the motor and any ideas for parts i should probably get or do.

ive built motors before but this would be my first push rod motor that im gonna do. ive done several dohc gm 4 cylinder motors before tho.
