Ok so I just bought a 94 blazer 2dr 4x4. Well im stripping the whole interior for sound deadening and what not. My question is what have some ppl used for speakers in the dash and mid panels. The dash take 4x6's and the mid panels take 6x9's. The reason I'm asking is cuz the space for the 6x9's really sucks. There is literally no more depth behind the magnets of the stock speaker. After looking around I'm thinking I might have to modify to fit. Has anyone found 6x9's that fit with no problem. The dash speakers I found wont have a problem fitting, but the 6x9's are a issue for me. If I could get some help with that I would appreciate it. Thanks Fred

 

I changed my door speakers and rear speakers to sony's explod series. They all fit perfectly and sound sick...

Doors were 6 1/2's and the rears were 6x9's... They sound great...
