nice engine, are you sure its a 350? those heads look like camel hump 327 casting. youll have trouble with belts with no bolt holes in head.
Hopefully it isa 350, but I know the heads are camel humps.. It doesn't have any numbers by the timing chain area. Since there are no accessory holes, that's why I had to order in Alan Grove http://www.alangrovecomponents.com/i.../101R,201L.GIF alt brackets. Left and right since I will run dual alts. Then this is the ps bracket http://www.hotrodsusa.com/store/bills_300.html So hopefully I'm set for that.

Just a little bass. 2 2.5K (2500) watt amps and 4 12's. Plus running dual 200's is cheaper than a larger 300 amp alt. Engine looks good, I wonder who will have there's in first, ha. I'm not rushing anything. Just in case you decide to, I can't use my offset oil filter adapter with my oil pan. So if you need one let me know.

Little tinkering around. I looked at the non ac heater box for about 2 seconds and realized what has to be done. I just cut out the openning where the nichrome blower resistor things go to fit the one from my truck. This is the board from the non ac truck.

Here is the one from my truck mounted into the new cover.

Here is the clearance with the motor set back and the mounts don't have a lot of adjustment.

Overall shot.

got my carb, bleeders, water pump and air filter on in the pic , and a whole bunch of goodies came in the other day like my starters, distributer and clear distributer cap, and alternator.

my dad borrowed this chevy cowl induction hood from his buddy at a chevy dealership and my dad is going to make a fiberglass mold of the scoop and is going to put it on my reverse opening hood. They dont make this scoop for a blazer hood so ya its a bit of a pain but its all good

No I didn't need to move the shaft, but I did anyways over and down about 1/2". Did it for a little extra clearance and since I have a body lift. Your engine is looking great as well. If your dad makes a mold of the cowl he could probably end up making a few bucks. I think a suicide hood would look pretty sharp. What size carb are you running? Mine is a 750 which came with the motor and I was gonna use it at first, but I should just go straight to a 600. I also got my alts, alt brackets, mini starter this week. Just waiting on 2 more orders to arrive. But I also need to get a throttle cable and tv bracket. Always something.

well with the hood scoop materials cost alot plus it takes quite a bit of time
so it would not be worth it to try to make some to sell
but heres some pics of my hood, starter and distributer with clear cap

oh and for my carb, its a 600
ya i have headers coming in here right away as well as a chrome alt and something else too but i cant remember wat it is atm
