Default How many miles to a tank of gas?

I've seen some threads on here where people say there fuel gauge fluctuates. Well mine does to it can be at a 1/4 tank one second and 1/2 a tank the next so i was wondering about how many miles do you guys get per filled tank ? i tend to fill it up every 150 wondering if i could go more then that

Depends on what kind of milage you are getting. If you've got a 2dr you should have about a 19 gallon tank. Check your milage next time you fill up and using that algebra that you never thought you'd need, figure out how far you can go on a tank.

16 gal tank, 02 4x4 4dr, approx. 225 miles to a tank, that is combined for highway and in town driving. I bet 90% of everyone on here has the "good ole": floating gauge.

'01 4 door 4x4, i get 260 best ever 320 on a 16 gallon tank. I don't go over 60 ever since i saw a billboard that said 75 vs 55 uses twice as much gas.

I always heard it was bad for the fuel pump to run under a 1/4 tank so i try to keep it at least above that. but i generaly get about ~250 miles to a tank avg.

As stated earlier, measuring miles per tank is pointless. Only miles per gallon matter.
Also, the correct sizes for Blazer gas tanks are: 2dr = 19 gallons; 4dr = 18 gallons
The fluctuations in gauge reading could be pointing to a bad sending unit on the pump.
