Default leTranny Flush?

How's it going? I've been super busy and havent been able to visit the site for awhile. Anyways heres my question.

My '99 Blazers 4L60E transmission is starting to go and needs to be replaced or rebuilt. I've already had the revised TCC installed but I think its too late. My transmission fluid is burnt and should be replaced. I'm thinking it might be smart to flush the tranny and get alll 13qts. out and start fresh. Do you think this is a good idea or is it worthless putting another $80-100 in it if it needs to be rebuilt?

The Blazer is going up for sale in about a month because I have Army training to take care of so I'am not planning on rebuilding it. Thanks

you can flush it out, change the filter and gasket while you are at it.

Its funny you say that. I forgot to mention this but...

First off my tranny was leaking bad so I had the gasket replaced and of course when that happened the filter and fluid was changed.
Second when I had the TCC replaced the filter and fluid was changed. This all happened under 5,000 miles ago.
I know it wouldnt hurt to flush it, I'm just wondering if it will make it last that much longer?.?.

It will give it some life but if the internals are going bad then you might as well permanently fix the problem instead of throwing money away at a tranny flush.

I think the flush's are great but its only fluid it wont fix something thats broke.

If you are going to sell it, add some LUCAS oil to the tranny, itll help with the slipping and stuff itll hold it together long enough to not come back to you.

Thats pretty much the anwer I was looking for. Thanks! I think I'm going to have it flushed and have the LUCAS oil added so it will last for the rest of the time I have it and long enough for the new owners to figure out what they want to do. To bad my P1870 is still showing though!
