Default Maf sensor delete

Is there any way to delete the mass air flow sensor in a stock v6?

Don't know what kind of vehicle you're referring too but the Blazers that have both a MAF and MAP sensors use the MAP as a backup in case the MAF fails. If the MAF fails the truck reverts to a speed density program. So theoretically you could do without a MAF but I haven't done it and wouldn't recommend it. A Blazer engine will not run to its optimal performance without having a MAF.
