I know from what reviews I have read, they are not all they are cracked up to be. Since they turn your accessories slower, lower performance in each of the systems should be expected. Some noted voltage concerns with aftermarket stereo equipment (subs/amps/etc). Also noted was diminished steering assist in low speed (parking lot) maneuvers. Along with concerns with the A/C keeping up on really hot days.

Heard basically the same, though, if you are looking for a simple bolt on for a seat of the pants performance upgrade, my understanding is this is one of the best.

Even though the kit comes with a pulley for the crank and the alt I've heard that voltage at idle is less than desirable. You will also need to get a short belt which is not part of the kit.
