Default NO SPARK?

Well had to have the blazer towed home the other day. It was running fine, then it just quit and wouldnt start up. I thought it was the fuel pump as that went on me befor but nope it still kicks on when i try to start it. So i check for sum spart. there is spark coming from the coil to the cap wire, however there is no spark going to the cap to the wires to the plugs. Could this be a bad cap?? The wires are only a couple of weeks old along with the pludges so thats not it. Any help is great, thanks in advance guys.

Default RE: NO SPARK?

I would definitely say to pull the cap and have a look underneith. If you aren't getting spark to the plugs, it could be your ignition control module throwing the spark too early/late, but you'd have to atleast look under the cap first to make sure that something didn't go wrong under there. If you have any buildup on the wire terminals inside or see that the rotor button is worn flat, you should replace both the cap and rotor.
