P0132 Code HELP
I am pulling a P0132 code. High voltage output on Bank 1 O2 sensor. Any idea on how to fix this?
Thanks in advance

RE: P0132 Code HELP
Well... By the code, I'm assuming it's an '96+ vehicle. Without looking at the sensor data, I wouldn't be able to recommend a solution. More often than not, this is a faulty O2 sensor.
If you put in a new O2 sensor, PLEASE use only a new AC Delco (or NGK as NGK makes the ones for AC Delco) O2 sensor.

Yea AC DELCO a must. You dont happen to know the part number for the bank 1 sensor 1? Truck has 96k so I guess its time for a 02 to go bad. Did Delco plugs and Delco Rotor and cap a couple of weeks ago with a WIX fuel filter. Was running good until now.

B1S1 is the driver's side sensor on the 'y' pipe. It'll be a... *runs out to garage to check*
AFS-105 is the upstream (B1S1 & B2S1) sensor GM# 25312200

RE: P0132 Code HELP
I have to say check all your wiring first to the O2 sensor before just replacing it, read on some other forums that wires seem to get grimped and show faulty readings. Also I wouldn't assume instantly that it's the O2 sensor itself, is your vehical running alittle ruff? When's the last time you change your fuel filter? Why I'm asking is my cousin had the same readings show up when her fuel pump started to go out and it took a long time to go out completely and it showed the code that bank 1 and 2 O2 sensor high voltage output. And after she had it replaced it quit showing the code, you might not be getting the right amount of fuel so the O2 sensor has to over compensate for the lack of readings from the exhaust. I had same problem and my fuel pump took like 1 month to go out.

RE: P0132 Code HELP
Well according to acdelco.com the part numbers for our trucks/blazers are AC/Delco #AFS-105...
Here are some other items to look for, these were taken from the GM SI Software I got from E-bay....::
Check the following items:
The fuel pressure: If the pressure is too high, the system will run rich. The VCM can compensate for some increase; however, if the pressure gets too high, the DTC P0132 may set. Refer to Fuel System Pressure Test .
A rich injector. Preform a poppet nozzle test. Refer to Fuel Injector Balance Test .
A leaking injector. Refer to Fuel Injector Balance Test .
Fuel contaminated oil
EVAP canister purge: Check for a fuel saturation. If full of fuel, check the canister control and hoses.
Leaking fuel pressure regulator diaphragm by checking the vacuum line to the regulator for fuel.
The TP sensor: An intermittent TP sensor output causes the system to run rich due to a false indication of the throttle moving.
False rich indication due to silicon contamination of the heated oxygen sensor. A DTC P0132 accompanied by a lean driveability conditions and a powdery white deposit on the sensor indicates a false rich indication.
Faulty HO2S (Bank 1, Sensor 1): the HO2S (Bank 1, Sensor 1) is internally shorted, the HO2S (Bank 1, Sensor 1) voltage displayed on a scan tool will be over 1.0 volt (1000 mV). Try disconnecting the HO2S (Bank 1, Sensor 1), if the displayed voltage goes from over 1000 mV to around 450 mV, replace the HO2S (Bank 1, Sensor 1).
