Default Radiator flush

So I went to do a flush...and i parked it on a slope so the engine was facing downhill...i drained it and it didnt seem nearly enough came out, put in a bottle of system flush, and filled with water...all was clear...at first...i turn the truck around do the engine was facing uphill so it would burp itself better...and ran it...it soon ran green again back to the anti freeze color...where did this come from? so i drained it again the same way...and refilled with pure water to rinse everything out and ran it again...and drained again...refilled with "the correct mix" but i only fit 1 bottle of water (thinkin i would get a lil more than 2 of each in) and about 1/2 bottle of pure antifreeze, and thats all that would go in??? wtf...help

Got an air bleed screw? I hook the hose to the radiator and another hose into a HUGE 55 gallon drum and start the car and turn the water on and let it do it itself, it runs clear when the car is running its completely flushed, you can then remove the supply hose and let it drain out, open the petcock on the radiator it will help in draining but once it runs clear, turn it off let it drain then reattach hoses and fill with proper green stuff.

how many quarts does your cooling system take, a gallon and a half might be enough, if not run it, check the level and refill to proper level. Im sure you know how to do it but thats the best way Ive found to do it.
