Default skakin' jimmy

HI all, little problem, again. Now, when I shut my ignition off I get an engine shake, its that feeling when your ride stalls. It feels like my sis's 1990 cavvy pos when she shuts off the ignition. this cant be normal, kinda makes a "duh duu" sound and skakes simultaniously.

this problem only started a few days ago and its buggin the hell outta me [&:]

ANY help is appreciated

I've never experianced a belt shaking the whole motor so my guess would be no. I would say open your hood start the truck and change from forward to reverse (with your foot on the brake of course) while looking through the windsheild at the motor. See if there is an excessive amount of movement in the motor. (there will be some but it really shouldn't tourqe the motor more than say an inch. If it does either a motor or tranny mount is shot.

Alright, I'll give that a try today. If it is a mount, I dont see anyway of it failing. like I didnt hit anything, although I did recently have my fuel pump replaced, would my mechanic have to release any of the mounts?

My thoughts. When was the last tune up?

No, the fuel pump is in the gas tank.

K&N, as in oil the filter type? You may have over oiled it and gotten oil on your MAP sensor. Ask swart about that, he knows more about that then I do.

Yeah, try a few different searches for cleaning your MAF. It's pretty straight forward, but you have to be careful.

It started doin it before I cleaned it, im aware of that theory so i try to get the excess off with papertowel. The MAF could cause this problem........I woulda never thought [:-]
I was thinkin more in ways of a mount.....but! what do I know
