What can i upgrade to make my fuel delivery system the most reliable. I love my truck(2001 LS 2DR RWD) but fuel pumps are killing me. I am entertaining the idea of going with a fuel cell and high flow pump which I am sure can be applicable But I have limited knowledge. if any one has a remedy for this reliability issue let me know if not lets figure it out. I am sure it is the fuel pump because when it cuts out I can bang on the tank directly under the pump and it will work again.
I figured that out in a fit of frustration.(lol)but any shared knowledge would be of great appreciation.

 

Throw in an AC/Delco or Delph pump rather than some after market brand. Yes, you'll spend more but won't have the problems you appear to be having.
