Default upgrade to Electronic Climate Control System

Has anyone done this? I did a search and found several problem/fix posts but nothing about upgrading a manual system to electronic.

My Blazer is a 1999 LT Any ideas?

I am guessing from the lack of replies that no one has done this....Any reason why not?

I had this system on my Bonneville and it worked great.

Unless you want to swap out the wiring harnesses, a few hvac control components (control head, temperature control actuator, vacuum control module), under dash vacuum lines, and having the BCM reprogrammed (IIRC), it really isn't a worthwhile swap. In general, the consensus across forums whenever this topic is brought up is to sell your vehicle and buy one with the option rather than hack the option in.
